"Wild Morning Run"

journal note:

There was dust in the air all around us. A patch here, a patch there. Not bad, but curious. Then we saw them. Multiple bands of wild horses on the move. What set them off we don't know, but we stopped and waited.

They came. Streaming past us. Not seeming to even notice we were there. It was beautiful. The early morning light and coolness, a delight.

Was their freedom at risk? We never saw the source

if so. They ran. Jumping sagebrush. All running in the same general direction. The best May morning ever.

A moment of pure joy and appreciation of one of Gods' most beautiful creatures.

The essence of Freedom.

Freedom, a wonderful word.

Something worth running for.

Something worth fighting for.

Freedom carries hope.
