“Days End”

journal note:

The late afternoon sun was so blinding as it came through the trees.

The colors were intense with even the shadows having a glow.

The tree trunks and dry fall foliage faded away in the glare.

It was hard to look at for long.

How to depict this scene was a dilemma.

Stippling seemed to be a good choice to try.

So, I tried.
Nature keeps teaching me.

What a glorious way to learn.
