journal note:      “Where the Crows Fly”

The air is damp and cold with winter hovering at the edges

waiting for its turn. The sky shows the passing storm and

leaves an odd pall over the landscape. The light is strangely

diffused and the colors intensely beautiful.

There are many crows flying and stridently calling as if they

too are uneasy and sense this strange scene developing before us.

What are they feeling at the passing of this storm? At the overall

strange air settling on this landscape?

Frantic interaction.

How to paint this incredible scene and make it look believable.

It is what it is.

Natures’ beauty.
