Wet Yellow Grasses

journal note: "Wet Yellow Grasses"

The water is running high.

Spring is here and everything is wet.

There is a slight mist that adds to the damp air.

Everything seems to droop with the extra weight

of all this moisture. The pale, yellow winter grasses

bend and bounce with the movement of the water.

A wet soggy time.

Soon to turn to new growth and fresh smells.
