Fall on the Grande Rhonde with its crisp morning air and

warm hazy afternoons. The sun reflects from the towering canyon

walls just as the fall colors reflect as a palette onto the rippling

surface of the river below.

What delight hides in the shadows of the cliffs above? Take time

to scan the depths available for the startle of treasure now seen.

A lone fisherman does not intrude as he plies his dance upon the

water, but only serves to enhance the sense of grandeur,

isolation and wonder of this majestic river environment.
